Day 1: Moshi/Marangu Village to Same : Distance 110 km

Embark on a scenic cycling journey from Moshi, nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, to Same, a gateway to the Mkomazi National Park. This route takes you from the cool, green slopes of Kilimanjaro into the semi-arid lowlands of northeastern Tanzania — a ride that offers a stunning shift in terrain, climate, and scenery. Kilimanjaro Views: Start your ride with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro (on clear days), as you cycle through banana and coffee farms around Moshi.
