The tour begins in Moshi town with a scenic drive to Marangu Gate. Along the way, tourists will pass through charming villages while enjoying breathtaking landscapes, beautiful natural surroundings, and views of both cash crops and food crops. Upon arrival at Marangu Gate, we will complete the registration process and pay the park entrance fees before beginning our adventure.
Tourists will then embark on a hike through the lush montane rainforest, where they can admire towering eucalyptus trees, vibrant birdlife, colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and, with a bit of luck, spot dik-diks, bush duikers, white-tailed mongooses, marsh mongooses, bush babies (galagos), and the white-necked raven.
Note: At these lower elevations, the rainforest is often wet and muddy, as expected in this ecosystem. Shorts and T-shirts may be comfortable for hiking, but it is essential to keep your rain gear and warmer clothing easily accessible throughout the trek.
Our destination is Mandara Hut, located at an elevation of 2,720m. Upon arrival, tourists will sign in and have the opportunity to take an optional walk to Maundi Crater. This short excursion offers breathtaking views of northeastern Tanzania and, weather permitting, a glimpse of Lake Chala, which lies on the border between Tanzania and Kenya. After exploring the crater, we will return to Mandara Hut for lunch and a short rest before descending back to Marangu Gate, marking the end of the tour. Finally, tourists will be transferred back to Moshi town.

In the morning, after breakfast, tourists will depart from Moshi town and drive to Marangu Gate, the main entrance to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, home to the world's highest free-standing mountain. Upon arrival, we will complete the registration formalities before starting the hike.

As we leave Marangu Gate, we will soon enter the lush montane rainforest, home to towering eucalyptus trees, vibrant birdlife, and playful black-and-white colobus monkeys.
At these lower elevations, the rainforest is often wet and muddy, as expected in this environment. Gaiters and trekking poles are highly recommended to help navigate the trail. While shorts and T-shirts may be comfortable during the hike, it is essential to carry rain gear and warmer clothing throughout the trek.
Upon reaching Mandara Hut at an elevation of 2,720m, we will sign in before taking an optional walk to Maundi Crater. The crater offers spectacular panoramic views of northern Tanzania and southern Kenya. On a clear day, visitors may also enjoy views of Lake Chala, located along the Tanzania–Kenya border. After the excursion, we will return to Mandara Hut for lunch and a short rest before descending back to Marangu Gate. From there, we will drive back to Moshi town, marking the end of the tour.
