The tour begins in Moshi town with a scenic drive to the Marangu Gate. Along the way, tourists will pass through charming villages, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes, natural surroundings, and views of both cash crops and food crops. Upon arrival at Marangu Gate, we will complete the registration process and pay the entrance fees, after which we will be ready to start our adventure.
Tourists will then embark on a walk through the montane rainforest, where they can admire towering eucalyptus trees, vibrant birdlife, colobus monkeys, blue-black monkeys, and occasionally dik-diks, bush duikers, white-tailed mongooses, marsh mongooses, bush babies (galagos), and the white-necked raven.
Note: At these lower elevations, the rainforest can be wet and muddy, as expected from its name. Shorts and T-shirts may be sufficient for comfort, but it is essential to keep your rain gear and warmer clothing readily accessible throughout the hike.
Our destination for this climb is Mandara Hut, located at 2,730m. Upon arrival, tourists will sign in and have the opportunity to take an additional walk to Maundi Crater. This excursion offers breathtaking views of northeastern Tanzania and, if the weather permits, a glimpse of Lake Challa, located at the border of Tanzania and Kenya. After exploring, we will return to Mandara Hut for lunch and a short rest before descending back to Marangu Gate, marking the end of the package. Finally, tourists will be transferred back to Moshi town.

As we depart from Marangu Gate, we will soon enter the lush rainforest, home to towering eucalyptus trees, vibrant birdlife, and colobus monkeys.

After reaching Mandara Hut at 2,720m, we will sign in and then have the opportunity to take a walk to Maundi Crater. The crater offers stunning views of northern Tanzania, Kenya, and Lake Challa, which is situated on the border between the two countries. Following the excursion, we will return to Mandara Hut for lunch and a brief rest before beginning our descent back to Marangu Gate. From there, we will drive back to Moshi, marking the end of the tour.
