The Tarangire River, the park’s only reliable water source, attracts numerous species. Today, we’ll embark on a five-hour game drive in this unique destination, celebrated for its high density and diversity of wildlife. Despite its compact size—20 kilometers in diameter—the crater is one of Tanzania’s most iconic safari spots. During the game drive, you can expect to encounter a variety of animals, including elephants, black rhinoceroses, leopards, buffalos, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests (gnus), Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, and the densest population of lions in the world. You’ll also see the local Masai people grazing their livestock within the crater.

One of the highlights of the Ngorongoro Crater is Lake Magadi, a shallow soda lake surrounded by extinct volcanoes. The lake is famous for hosting large flocks of pink flamingos, creating a spectacular sight. In the afternoon, we’ll depart for Moshi, Arusha, or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
