3 Days Safaris Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara And Ngorngoro Crater

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and begin the drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to pass through small towns and rural areas, giving you a glimpse of everyday life in Tanzania.

Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, we will embark on a game drive. Tarangire is famous for its massive baobab trees and is home to large populations of elephants and giraffes, along with a wide variety of other wildlife. The park offers excellent game viewing due to the presence of the Tarangire River, the only water source in the area, which winds through the park and attracts a diverse range of animals. The animals tend to gather near the riverbanks, making game viewing more accessible. The game drive will continue into the late afternoon. Afterward, we will head to the town of Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight accommodation. Options range from camping to lodges, depending on your reservation.

Very early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport by our driver-guide for the journey to Ngorongoro Crater, with packed lunch boxes. Upon arrival, we will descend into the crater for a game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch. The game drive will continue into the late afternoon before we drive back to Mto wa Mbu Town for overnight accommodation in preparation for the next day's tour.

Once we arrive at Ngorongoro Crater, we will begin our game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is part of a larger interconnected ecosystem, including the crater highlands, vast plains, bush, and woodlands. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans approximately 8,300 square kilometers, and near its center is the famous Olduvai Gorge, known for its rich archaeological history and fossil discoveries.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's most renowned wildlife viewing destinations. As one of the largest calderas in the world, the crater features diverse landscapes, including grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, and a freshwater lake. The crater is home to an array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, zebras, and reedbucks.

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your lodge or campsite at 8:30 AM after breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, a rare and fascinating feature of the park. These lions, the only known species of their kind in the world, make the ancient mahogany and elegant acacia trees their home during the rainy season. Their tree-climbing behavior is one of the park's most intriguing highlights.

In addition to the lions, Lake Manyara National Park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world, offering fascinating game viewing of large families of these primates. The shores of the lake are often covered by large flocks of flamingos, adding a striking pink hue to the landscape. Later in the afternoon, we will depart for Moshi, Arusha, or Kilimanjaro Airport. This will mark the end of our safari adventure, and you will be transferred to your hotel to relax before concluding our tour package services.
