2 Days Safaris Tarangire N.Park And Lake Manyara

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most picturesque wildlife destinations. Along the way, you’ll pass through small towns and rural areas, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of Tanzanian communities.

The park’s diverse habitats attract a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants. You’ll also have the chance to spot Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos drawn to the algae-rich lake. Game viewing will continue until late afternoon, after which we will head to the nearby town of Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation options include camping or lodges, depending on your preference and prior booking.

After breakfast, we will head to Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. The park follows the course of the Tarangire River and features a landscape of low-lying hills along the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation includes Acacia woodlands and iconic giant African baobab trees, with extensive swamp areas in the south. During the dry season, both the river and swamps serve as vital water sources, attracting a multitude of wildlife. Tarangire is renowned for hosting some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. It is also home to three rare animal species, including the Greater Kudu.

Our game drive will last approximately five hours, offering an opportunity to witness the park’s exceptional wildlife density and diversity. Among the animals we expect to see are elephants, black rhinoceroses, leopards, buffalo, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests (gnu), Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles. Later in the afternoon, we will depart for Moshi, Arusha, or Kilimanjaro International Airport, or transfer you to your hotel, marking the conclusion of our 2-day safari package.
