A DAY CYCLING TO MATERUNI FALLS $85
Materuni Waterfalls is an incredible booming waterfall located closed to Moshi town just 15 kilometers and a 1.5 - 2.5 hours ride from Moshi Town. Tourist will have the opportunity to stand underneath the waterfall, even jump off one and go swimming in the refreshing water, at the bottom of the waterfall through the typical river, vegetation in a neighborhood of coffee and banana trees all over round, The waterfalls is almost more than 80 meters high.
Please during heavy rainfall you should pay more attention while you swimming, do not swim closer to the waterfalls because there is a small cave behind the waterfall where someone could get stuck and lots of crabs. Please be careful and do not go swimming close to the waterfall, especially for children.
When combined with a coffee tour in the village, it makes for a perfect day trip on your free day before or after your Kilimanjaro climb or wildlife safari. After swimming and taking off a break for lunch in this beautiful valley we will also visit an old Chagga cultural site village, and depending on the season, a coffee plantation, where we can roast, brew and drink our very own cup of fresh coffee and having the hot lunch there the choice is yours, There is the amazing experience to visit this place.
Our cycling starts from Moshi to Materuni village through the different villages in our route, in this area, all the way up and down the Materuni village we will be viewing many things on the road especially the way the Chagga people living share some traditional story, The ride distance is 15 km is challenging. At the traditional site they will be eager to show you guys the process of making your cup of coffee or brewing banana beer and finally will be the picnic site for the lunch or hot lunch as you choose, Please do not forget to buy souvenirs from them as your support to them later afternoon we will ride downhills back to Moshi town that will end up our cycling tour package.

The Package is the Most difficult cycling package that needs tourists to have an uphills cycling experience before they decide to book, this offer cyclists to cycle uphill to Mount Kilimanjaro up to almost 5000m before starting to push up their bike to the highest point of Africa UHURU PEAK 5895M.
Highlights; The cycle will start at Kilema gate at the elevation of 2000m, up to Horombo hut 3720m, the extra day for acclimation from Horombo and back to Horombo 3720m then from Horombo, cycle to Kibo hut 4730m but it will be possible to extend to 5000m before tourist or cyclist decide to push up their own mountain bike. Remember that: this cycle is really tough and needs a tourist to have enough cycling experience before he/she decides to pick this package.
